Converting a foreign driving licence in Thailand: what to check first
A foreign licence can be the basis for a Thai licence route, but the exact requirements depend on the licence, categories, validity, Thai status and address documents.

Check the issuing country, expiry date and whether it covers car, motorcycle or both. Do not assume one category automatically creates the other.
