Thai driving licence with DTV: the questions that need checking
DTV status is one fact in the case, not an automatic promise of a particular licence term or outcome.
Do not reduce the case to one visa label
A human review also needs the foreign licence country, validity, categories, Bangkok address and residence-document position.
Residence evidence still matters
TM30 and Residence Certificate questions may be relevant. A lawful route is confirmed only after the actual documents are checked.
No unsupported five-year promise
BKKFIX does not promise a five-year licence for DTV holders without a verified current rule and case-specific eligibility.
Prepare before attending
