Plan a Bangkok licence visit: timing and the complete quote

Plan four stages, not one visit

1. Before travel: identify the route, check document language, accommodation and permission-to-stay dates. Ask which preparations can be completed remotely.
2. Document preparation: allow for accepted address evidence, any translation, medical examination and required training. Confirm which steps depend on your arrival.
3. Appointment: obtain an actual slot or agreed booking plan. Sending an enquiry does not reserve a date.
4. At DLT and afterwards: complete personal checks, any required tests, payment and issuance. Allow for a repeat visit or test if needed.

A short prepared appointment is not the duration of the entire service. Do not buy inflexible onward travel on an unconfirmed two- or three-day assumption. Ask for working-day estimates, dependencies and what happens if a document or appointment changes.

What a written quote should separate

• The category and procedure for each requested licence.
• Coordination and any on-site accompaniment.
• Required Residence Certificate (RC) originals and whether already held originals are usable.
• The medical certificate and standard DLT licence fee are included in listed conversion and renewal prices and must not be charged again separately.
• Translation, delivery, retests and additional visits are agreed separately when needed. TM30 assistance is available only with an ordered Residence Certificate, at +1,000 THB per case when needed and selected.
• Payment timing and the agreed treatment of cancellation or a changed scope.

Use the site's current pricing information as a starting point, then confirm your own scope before payment. Do not add a medical or government fee twice if already included. An uncommon combination needs its own quote, not two unrelated packages added together.

BKKFIX coordinates accepted Bangkok cases independently. Authorities control appointments, requirements and approval; passing a test is not guaranteed.
